Terms & Conditions – Rumi Weaves
These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases, interactions, and transactions with Rumi Weaves, including but not limited to orders placed through the website, WhatsApp, email, social media platforms, exhibitions, pop-ups, private appointments, and direct communications.
By placing an order with Rumi Weaves, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
1. Product Nature & Craftsmanship
1.1 All products offered by Rumi Weaves are fashion garments and textile-based creations, many of which involve artisanal, handcrafted, handwoven, printed, or embroidered processes.
1.2 Variations in colour, weave, texture, print placement, embroidery alignment, finish, or detailing are inherent characteristics of handmade products and shall not be construed as defects, damages, or grounds for dispute.
1.3 Product images are captured under controlled lighting conditions and sometimes Ai generated.Variations may occur due to screen resolution, device settings, or individual perception. Rumi Weaves does not guarantee exact colour or finish replication across devices.
2. Order Placement & Confirmation
2.1 An order shall be deemed confirmed only upon receipt of full payment, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing by an authorised representative of Rumi Weaves.
2.2 Rumi Weaves reserves the unconditional right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at its sole discretion without obligation to provide justification.
2.3 Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or altered, including changes in size, colour, design, delivery address, or product selection.
3. Pricing & Payments
3.1 All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Prices are subject to change without prior notice and do not affect already confirmed orders.
3.3 Payments once made are final, non-refundable, and non-reversible under all circumstances.
3.4 Rumi Weaves shall not be responsible for any additional charges imposed by payment gateways, banks, or financial institutions.
4. Dispatch, Delivery & Timelines
4.1 Dispatch timelines communicated are estimated timelines only and do not constitute a binding commitment.
4.2 Delays arising from courier partners, logistics providers, natural events, governmental restrictions, strikes, seasonal production pressure, pandemics, or any force majeure circumstances are beyond the control of Rumi Weaves and shall not entitle the customer to cancellation, refund, or compensation.
4.3 Risk and responsibility for the product transfer to the customer upon successful delivery at the provided address.
5. Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit
5.1 All orders are governed strictly by the Return & Exchange Policy of Rumi Weaves, available on the official website.
5.2 Rumi Weaves does not offer refunds in any form, including but not limited to cash, bank transfer, card reversal, or original payment method.
5.3 Any approved return or exchange shall be settled only through store credit, valid for the specified duration mentioned in the Return & Exchange Policy.
5.4 Store credit is non-transferable, non-encashable, and cannot be extended beyond its validity period under any circumstances.
6. Unboxing & Defect Claims
6.1 A clear, continuous, and unedited unboxing video is mandatory for any claim related to damage, defect, or incorrect product.
6.2 The video must clearly show:
- The sealed package
- Shipping label
- Opening of the parcel
- The product and issue in a single uninterrupted frame
6.3 Claims raised without such video evidence or raised beyond the prescribed timeline shall be automatically rejected.
6.4 Rumi Weaves’ assessment of defects shall be final and binding.
7. Reverse Logistics & Charges
7.1 In the event of an approved return or exchange, reverse logistics charges shall apply as per the Return & Exchange Policy.
7.2 Rumi Weaves shall not be liable for delays, loss, or damage occurring during reverse transit initiated by the customer.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Rumi Weaves shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of business, opportunity, or personal dissatisfaction
- Misuse, mishandling, or improper care of the product post-delivery
8.2 The maximum liability of Rumi Weaves, if any, shall be strictly limited to the value of the product purchased.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All designs, images, content, text, graphics, logos, and brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Rumi Weaves.
9.2 Any unauthorised use, reproduction, copying, or distribution is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
10.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
10.2 Any disputes shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of courts located in India, as determined by Rumi Weaves.
11. Amendments & Final Authority
11.1 Rumi Weaves reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
11.2 Continued use of services or placement of orders after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11.3 The interpretation and enforcement of these Terms & Conditions shall rest solely with Rumi Weaves, and its decision shall be final and binding.
By placing an order with Rumi Weaves, the customer confirms full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
