Exchanges & Store Credit Policy
At our atelier, every piece is thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted. Each order undergoes multiple quality checks before it is carefully packed and dispatched. As a made-with-intent brand, we follow a structured policy to ensure fairness, transparency, and smooth operations for both our clients and our team.
We request you to read the policy below carefully before placing an order.
1. Size Exchange Policy
1.1 We offer a size exchange only, subject to product availability.
1.2 Exchange requests must be intimated within 3 (three) working days of receiving the order.
1.3 Requests raised beyond this period cannot be accommodated.
1.4 Each order is eligible for one exchange request only.
1.5 The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, unwashed, unworn, and with all original tags and packaging intact.
2. No Refund Policy | Store Credit
2.1 We do not offer refunds in cash, bank transfer, or original payment method.
2.2 In case an exchange is not feasible, the eligible value will be issued as store credit.
2.3 Store credit:
- Is valid for 3 months from the date of issue
- Can be redeemed against any purchase on our website
- Is non-transferable, non-encashable, and cannot be extended once expired
3. Defective or Incorrect Product
3.1 If you believe you have received a defective or incorrect product, please notify us within 3 (three) working days of delivery.
3.2 A clear, uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory and must capture:
- The sealed package
- Shipping label
- Opening of the parcel
- The issue clearly visible
This measure helps us verify transit-related concerns and maintain fairness for all our clients.
⚠️ Claims without an unboxing video cannot be processed.
3.3 Upon verification, an exchange or store credit will be offered at the sole discretion of the brand.
4. Reverse Pickup & Logistics Charges
4.1 For all approved exchanges or returns, a reverse logistics fee of ₹200 will be applicable.
4.2 This amount will be deducted from the store credit issued.
Why this applies:
As a design-focused brand, we already absorb significant costs toward packaging, quality checks, and forward shipping. Reverse logistics involves additional handling and courier expenses, and this nominal fee allows us to continue delivering premium products without inflating prices.
5. How to Initiate a Request
5.1 Please email us at [support@rumiweaves.com] within 3 working days of receiving your order.
5.2 Kindly include:
- Order number
- Registered contact details
- Reason for exchange or concern
- Unboxing video (mandatory for defect-related claims)
Incomplete requests may not be processed.
6. Items Not Eligible for Exchange
6.1 Products purchased during sale, promotions, or discounts are not eligible for exchange unless received damaged.
6.2 Any item returned with signs of:
- Wear
- Washing
- Alteration
- Stains, odour, or damage
will be declined.
7. Final Authority
7.1 The brand reserves the right to:
- Accept or decline any exchange or return request
- Amend this policy without prior notice
7.2 All decisions made by the brand shall be final and binding.
